Design of DSP Expansion Bus Interface Based on TMS320C6000

Abstract:

An interface of expansion bus based on the TMS320C6000 by TI Company is designed.The composition and work mode of the expansion bus of C6000 DSPs are introduced.A scheme of data transmission between two DSPs is provided.A software flow chart is presented.The circuit design and software are easy to implement.The transmission rate can reach 3.2 Gbit·s-1 in the asynchronous I/O Mode,and DSP's throughput is improved greatly.
