Range-Velocity Decoupling Based on Dual Period Sawtooth Wave LFMCW Radar

Abstract:

Dual period sawtooth and moving target detection (MTD) techniques are combined in order to realize the range-velocity coupling of LFMCW radar.As for the problem of multi-target pairing,a new method called coupled range pairing is proposed.After eliminating the velocity ambiguity of pairing targets,the motion parameters can be acquired.The simulation results indicate the effectiveness of the signal process and pairing algorithm.
