Abstract:

A new type optical communication system,the ultraviolet communication system has the potential advantages of good security,powerful anti-jamming,non-line of sight (NLOS) and Omni-directional capability.Difficult to be detected and intercepted,the system can be used in various close-jamming military communications environments.This paper summarizes the latest ultraviolet communications developments and briefly describes the possible applications of ultraviolet communications in army,navy and air force.
