Design of Voice and IP Data Wireless Optical Communications Link Based on Ethernet

Abstract:

A system based on Ethernet and wireless communication link of laser transmission is designed for the directed communication between mobile application platforms carried a short distance.The electrical signals emitted by the Ethernet are modulated to optical wave over direct modulation.The modulated optical signals are focused to be the laser beam and then aligned to the receiving device;receiving device demodulates the collected signal and optical signals are restored into electrical signals.The electrical signals are sent to the reception side via Ethernet.This system can realize bi-directional high-capacity high-speed real-time signal transmission of voice,data,video and image signals with reliable communication quality,excellent privacy and security.Test results showed that the system can achieve high-speed data communication radio channel to meet the need for confidentiality between pairs of mobile application platforms.
