Abstract:

In view of the contradiction between high pointing accuracy requirement and low storage requirement, a method of obtaining phase shifter value based on linear interpolation is proposed in this study. A small step sweep is performed under the premise of the storage capacity of a large step sweep. The relationship between the sweep accuracy and the required storage capacity is calculated, and the feasibility of linear interpolation is analyzed. The position data and angle data in the phase shifter value are scaled differently, and the performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated using three quantitative indexes including Phase shifter value error, pattern error and beam pointing error. The results show that the wave control memory is reduced by 98%, the phase shifter error is less than 1°, the pattern error is less than 20 dB, and the beam pointing error is less than 0.1°.
