Abstract:

The paper analyzes the main principle of the OTDR,describes the technical difficulties of the OTDR,and proposes a solution based on wavelet transform.The purpose is to remove the noise in the OTDR signal and find the precise position of the event point.Theoretical proof and practical data show that the method is a viable option.
