Abstract:

With the increasing application of the technology of the internet of things,the automation and intelligent level of coastal waters transportation management is improving continuously,and hence the merchant ship real time monitoring and management can be realized gradually.This paper discusses the design of a coastal waters intelligent transportation system by taking AIS(Automatic Identification System) as a data acquisition sensing unit of the internet of things.The advantages of AIS-based internet of things and the application prospects of the coastal waters intelligent transportation system are analyzed.The scheme is proved to be feasible.
