Abstract:

In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the railway system, this paper designs a new type of inverse magnetostrictive transducer which converts energy from the pressure of railway steel based on the layout conditions of monitoring nodes, and this transducer can meet the needs of nodes with its conversion efficiency reaching 32.6 mW.This paper also presents a railway steel pressure monitoring system based on CC2430+GPRS.The hardware and software design of the coordinator and RFD nodes are given. An intermittent network is established using double coordinators.Through the field experiments in a railway station, the largest single jump distance approximates 60 m,and the data transmission success rate is higher than 96%.This system can also balance the energy consumption of each node, effectively increasing its life.
