    A plano-convex freeform surface algorithm is presented for uniform illumination.The 3D modeling of the lens is performed based on non-imaging optical core theory of etendue and energy conservation,according to Snell's law,by the establishment of a lens profile curve ODE satisfied by using Matlab in the DDE (Dynamic Transmission) technology and Tracepro complete language in the scheme of dynamic data link,eliminating the need to import 3d software brings curve fitting error,so the modeling becomes more accurate.The results show that the algorithm can achieve uniform illumination in a specific area with a lens diameter of 23 mm and an optical efficiency of up to 51.99% with the light source 10 mm from the lens.

    The spectral finite element method (SFEM) is developed to model the surface-bonded piezoelectric wafer and beam structure.The Timoshenko beam theory,the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory and linear piezoelectricity are used to model the base beam and electric-mechanical behavior of the piezoelectric wafer respectively.The governing equations are obtained in the time domain by using Hamiltons principle,and then the Spectral finite element model are formulated via the fast Fourier transform.The SFEM is used to analyze the frequency response function,admittance characteristics and the influence of damage.The high accuracy of the present SFEM is verified by a comparison with the finite element method (FEM) results.The numerical model and its calculation results provide analysis basis for damage detection and assessment of the practical detection signal.

    A hybrid concentrating photovoltaic system is proposed on the basis of Fresnel lens,which has the converging characteristic to get the light collected to a point.The system uses the parabolic reflector to get parallel light simultaneously.The parallel light is obtained by a point light source reflecting through parabolic reflector,and the point light should be placed on the focus of the parabolic reflector.Preliminary simulation data of the entire concentrating photovoltaic system will be obtained by Zemax.Then the condenser system can be optimized and improved in reference to the simulation results.The comparative analysis shows that the improved system achieves a higher collection efficiency and better utilization.

    A novel automated sorting machine of high i efficiency s developed.This paper focuses on the designs of the measure scheme,mechanical structure,and control system based on the principles of battery measure.Tests show the mechanical structure and control system can operate normally with cell resistance and voltage accuracies of 0.1 mΩ and 0.1 mV respectively,and an increased sorting efficiency by 60%.

    The time reversal multiple signal classification algorithm can be applied to the damage detection of concrete structure.The transfer matrix is constructed though the transmitted signals and scatter signals obtained by transducer arrays,and then decomposed to get the singular value that reflects the damage quantity and the singular vectors contain the damage information.The concrete structure is imaged by MUSIC algorithm.Numerical simulation and experiments verify the feasibility of the time reversal imaging method for accurate damage detection of concrete structure.

    In order to solve the problems of forecasting method,such as low forecasting accuracy,and long computation time in short-term electric power load forecasting,an approach to short-term load forecasting based on self-organizing feature mapping of similar days feature extraction and ELM (Extreme Learning Machine) combined method is proposed in this paper.Firstly,self-organizing neural network is used to the classification of related data.The data of the same type as that of the forecasting day are found out.Then these training samples are forecasted by ELM,which has strong ability to predict and short computing time.The power load data of one city were used for simulating.The proposed method is compared with ELM and back propagation (BP) neural network.The experimental results show that ELM method based on feature extraction of similar days has high prediction precision,good generalization performance and short running time.

    A transplant method is proposed for timely image processing.A successful mixed Gauss background modeling in OPENCV and the TI DAVINCE DM3730 platform is given to show how to transplant and accelerate the algorithm without affecting the result,covering the fixed point of the algorithm and dealing with the code structure.The experimental results illustrate that this method can satisfy the need of application,and can be used in the floating to fixed point transplantation and in most of the image processing algorithm.

    In view of the some existing SVMS issues such as data disproportion and strong dependence on the algorithm structure in the process of multi-classification,a new SVM classification algorithm based on genetic algorithms is proposed.The new algorithm considers the crossover in the genetic algorithm as the choice of divisions in the SVM,improves the correction capability during classification by mutation and bases the optimal classification results on the fitness function.Simulation and tests are performed on sample sets with different characteristics and the result shows the algorithm has superiority in data balance,speed and accuracy of classification in the case of multi-classification.

    In two-dimensional tomography field,the biggest problem algebraic reconstruction technique (ART) algorithm faces is the large calculating quantity that causes its low reconstruction speed,for which an improved ART algorithm is proposed in this paper.It aims at getting good quality faster.All the transition solutions during each iteration process are recorded and their average value is the initial value of the next iteration.Experiment results indicate that the improved algorithm can get good quality with less iterations and has better quality than traditional algorithm.

    Aiming at the disadvantages of the basic cuckoo search(CS) algorithm such as weaker local search ability,slower convergence rate and poorer optimization precision,this paper studies the quantum inspired cuckoo search algorithm.Firstly,we enabled the cuckoos with heterogeneous search behaviors towards the nests with the help of quantum mechanism.Then three measures which can improve the cuckoos local search capability were introduced on this basis,namely the introduction of a similar inertia weight to the equation of renewal of the nests positions,an adaptively decreased probability of the cuckoo nests being replaced with a randomly generated new one,and the improvement of increment with a random disturbance.A graphical comparison of the original CS algorithm and the quantum one used for optimization of two kinds of benchmark functions shows that the latter algorithm possesses greater advantages over the original one with a better precision.

    The stability and tracking performance of TLD tracking algorithm decreased significantly with rapid changes in speed moving targets,goals lost in a complex background,or large shelter.The particle filter is introduced to the TLD algorithm tracking module to offer better complex background track fast-moving target as well as long-term stability.Experiments in OpenCV and VS2010 show that the improved TLD algorithm can better track fast-moving target,increasing the tracking stability and robustness.

    An autoregressive integrated moving average model (ARIMA) based on the characteristics of infectious diseases changes is proposed for accurate prediction of the epidemics.Firstly,the original data is preprocessed smoothly by the model,which is also used to eliminate the abruptness and the characteristics of seasonal and cyclical.Then the ARIMA is used to build a model of data that has been smoothed.We use the data,the morbidity of influenza in a city,to simulate the results of the experiment,which shows that ARIMA can capture the regulation of the variation of infectious diseases well,and improve the accuracy of the prediction.It is an efficient approach to predicting the epidemic,which also provides support for decision-making in epidemic prediction and monitoring.

    A set of oil pump performance testing system based on automotive oil pump is designed for the problems of complex operations,data inaccuracy and low efficiency in the handle testing of oil pump.With the help of LabVIEW environment and data acquisition card,this testing system tests the automobile oil pump performance with NI-USB 6210 data acquisition card to collect fuel pressure,fuel flow,pump working voltage and current parameters.PC interface is compiled by LabVIEW to realize the control parameters setting,pump performance evaluation,data display,storage,query and other functions based on historical records.The experimental results show that the testing time of this system is reduced by 90% with dramatically improved accuracy and efficiency compared with the traditional test method.

    In the intensive care unit (ICU) a portable chest X-ray machine is used by clinicians to help monitor the progression of the patient and identify the location of various medical tubes in the patient's body.However the chests from the portable chest X-ray machine have the defects of low contrast,noise,and vague image of tubes on chests,making it difficult for radiologist to locate the tubes.This study presents a method for detecting tubes in ICU portable chest X-ray image.First a contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) process is performed on the patient's chest obtained to adjust the contrast information.Then bilateral filtering is used to smooth the chest and keep edge at the same time.Finally the tube detection is done on the image.The approach was applied on about 100 images taken from a portable chest X-ray machine,the results show that the proposed method can effectively detect the tubes in ICU chest radiographs with an accuracy approaching 90%.

    This paper presents an efficient approach for design validation of automotive instruments because of low efficiency of manual testing nowadays.The approach combines hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and machine vision technologies.The system developed can simulate vehicle operations in real-time basis and inspect visual display of the instrument with an intelligent camera.A host computer controls the whole operation process and conducts fully-automated design validation testing.The simulation models and the image processing algorithms are introduced.Experiments are performed for validation of the functionalities of the light status,the needle pointer status and the character display in a laboratory testing platform,verifying the accuracy and stability of test results and showing the practical value of this system.

    This paper introduces the application of BACnet protocol and transplantation of protocol stack,proposes a brief method on designing stacks interactive model,and presents the process of transplanting into STM32 demoboard.This method analyzes the implementation process of every layer in BACnets structure including application layer,network layer and data link layer.Transplantation is based on the BACnet-stack-0.8.2 version,with the BACnet stack tailored and transplanted according to standard objects function and hardware configuration.The STM32 demoboard is transformed into a BACnet node device which can communicate with virtual device in PC through RS485 and fulfill services like read and write properties.

    A lane line detecting method based on Hough transformation is proposed to improve the robustness.A parallel accelerated processing technology is adopted to improve the speed of detecting line for Hough transformation.The image to be detected is divided into two interesting regions assigned to two CPUs respectively for processing.Then the two independent detecting results are combined.The experiment results indicate that the detecting speed is increased by 39.1% with higher quality and efficiency than traditional serial detecting.

    A wireless refueling controlling system based on STM32 controller and nRF24L01 wireless radio frequency transmission module is proposed for the complex wiring,high cost and scattered equipment of traditional refueling system.The system can be divided into master station (for real-time display and communication with the PC) and slave stations (for measuring parameters of oil pressure and liquid level).Master/slave stations set up wireless communication network by using Star-shaped pattern for data transmission.The test results indicate that the system works stably and realizes reliable short range point-to-multipoint wireless communication.

    A wireless environment monitoring system based on GPRS is designed for subway tunnels with special requirements for temperature,humidity and CO gas.The data collection terminal is used for getting environmental parameters.By using GPRS as the wireless transmission network,wireless data transmission between host computer and field computers are completed.The MCU of the data collection terminal is LPC2210.The system can meet different GPRS network access scenarios by software modification.The experiment results show that the system can meet the designed requirements.

    PID control theory is utilized to deal with the problems of simple input/output control,discontinuous liquid mixing and poor accuracy.There are some problems in traditional PID control,such as troubles in adjustment after the state change of the system,large overshoot and long setting time.In combination with the fuzzy theory,flow valves are adjusted and all disturbances in the system will be eliminated to achieve the accurate mixture.PLC realizes the fuzzy self tuning PID and manages with input/output control.It has advantages of continuous and discontinuous operation,less overshoot and good robustness.Its overshot is 36% less than that of the traditional PID.Moreover,the setting time is reduced by 3 seconds with higher production efficiency and lower labour cost.

    Traditional PID experimental systems based on Matlab simulation are not only short of actual control objection but also abstract.This paper designs and implements a new PID experimental system based on the industrial model.The industrial motor control model is added to the original simulation with LPC2114 as the core processor and L298N for the DC motor control system of motor driven.PID real-time control is performed by Matlab programming.The experiment proves that the system reflects the influence of PID parameter changes on the system and the effect of PID industrial control while retaining the accuracy of the Matlab simulation experiment,and improves the visibility of PID experimental system.

    A variable gain internal model control PID (IMC-PID) based on neural network is proposed for better ultrasonic motor control.The IMC-PID simplifies the parameters setting of PID controller with only one parameter needed to be adjusted.The neural network is introduced to adjust the parameters to make up for the nonlinear problem for ultrasonic motor.The response relationship between input and output and the smaller steady-state error is found.The experiments proved that ultrasonic motor control by using this control system offers good adaptability to characteristics variation and load disturbance.

    A new low-cost isolated flyback switch Li-battery power supply is designed for battery-powered medical instruments with high voltage and isolated function.The chip with current type of pulse width modulation (PWM) UC3845 and a feedback circuit are used to realize the isolate and dual-output function.The input of the designed power is 10~14 V and the dual-output are +35 V and -35 V.The consumed power is 14 W with an efficiency of 75%.The size of the module is 65 mm×40 mm.The simulation and experiment results validate that the power supply module can realize the ±35 V power isolated supply.

    A new type of dual loop broadband circularly polarized antenna is designed and fabricated to overcome the microstrip antennas disadvantages of narrow inherent frequency band,low radiation efficiency,and small possibility of high gains.The patch unit of the antenna uses the slot/strip configuration composed of a slot loop and a strip loop.The slot loop offers a minimum AR point at a lower frequency while the strip loop offers a minimum AR point at a higher frequency.An appropriate combination of the two minimum AR points can result in a significant enhancement for the circularly polarized bandwidth.A broadband balun is used for the feeding of the antenna and the impedance matching.Simulation and measurement results of the fabricated antenna with optimized parameters exhibit a broadband impedance bandwidth (VSWR≤2) of,37% an axial ratio (≤3 dB) of 29.8%,and a gain up to 6.4 dB.

    A novel direction-finding method based on harmonic analysis by the time-modulated array (TMA) is proposed.Compared with the complex system and higher cost of conventional direction-finding method,the proposed method requires only two antenna elements and two single-pole single-throw switches.The signal processing of the proposed method is concise and its calculation amount concentrates on the discrete Fourier transform (DFT),which reduces the cost of signal processing.Numerical simulations are provided to examine the performance of the proposed method,showing good accuracy.

    In view of the failure of almost all the methods of the multiple stations passive location in the uncommon-view,this paper propose a new method using only the time of arrival (TOA) in this situation.The TOA train of every net point is produced and the one that is most like of the real train is the excellent.Then the paper analyzes how the components affect the location precision such as the TOA-error,the distribution of the stations,the distances between the substations and the main-station and the observation time.The results of the emulation prove that a precision close to the CRLB lower limit can be achieved without considering the error of the station address and the clock synchronization.

    Multivariable process object has a coupling characteristic frequently.There usually are some loops with inoperable variable,when decoupling those processes.This will make the identification of objects more difficult.A close-loop identification algorithm based on biased relay feedback is proposed in this paper.The identification of objects is realized by biased relay feedback.This method can find a main frequency band of the objects after analyzing and discussing the input and output signals.Thereby it will get an accurate model.Simulation examples show accuracy and applicability of the identification method for a wide range of processes.

    Based on the characteristics of big data,the paper proposes quickly recognizing top search queries by the tag cloud.It also introduces the advantages of the traditional data warehouse in query and storage structure,and puts forward a different method of data transfer from the traditional ones in the collaboration mode,which is based on the combination of data warehouse and Hadoop platform.The data middle ware is used,and a comparison between the time taken for the same quantity of records to be introduced into Hadoop shows that the method proposed is superior to Sqoop.
