    Pedestrian detection is an active research in computer vision. One of the representative works in pedestrian detection in recent years is the deformable part model (DPM). In this paper we discuss the disadvantages in DPM, and propose a new method based on the dynamic weight adjustment in DPM. The weight of the parts in DPM is adjusted dynamically to obtain more reliable results for identifying pedestrians in complex environments. Experiments show that this method can identify pedestrian more effective than the traditional DPM in complex environments.

    The ant colony and particle swarm optimization have the disadvantages of local preferred solution, stagnation and low convergence speed. A fusion of improved ant colony and particle swarm algorithm is proposed to meet the high quality and efficiency requirements of vehicle routing search., use the coarse search is used in the early stage, and the improved ant colony algorithm for the following fine search. Simulation shows that the improved algorithm significant improves the efficiency of path planning and calculation.

    A Chinese character string approximate matching algorithm based on the improved edit distance and similarity is proposed for better accuracy in Chinese string matching. Firstly the pinyin code is used by considering character of Chinese string, then dynamic programming algorithm is improved to effectively improve the accuracy of calculation; next, a normalization algorithm considering switching problems is introduced. With semantic edit and long distance the ratio of the length of the sentence as the result of the normalization, the accuracy and executive efficiency of approximate matching algorithm is improved. Experimental results show that the quality of the results by the improved algorithm is better than those by traditional algorithms with significant improvement in efficiency, recall, precision, time cost and other indicators.

    In view of the over-segmentation caused by traditional watershed segmentation, a normalized cut image segmentation method combined on morphological watershed transformation is proposed in this paper. On the basis of traditional watershed segmentation, the morphology algorithm is adopted for initial segmentation, and the average grey value of each segmented area is used as input parameters for the normalized cut algorithm to complete the image segmentation. The results show that combined algorithm not only avoids over-segmentation, but also achieves as good accuracy as the normalized cut algorithm segmentation.

    The quality of the weld is significant to the safety of the pipeline. A method for circumferential direction location based on the ultrasonic guided wave is studied, which can quickly determine the circumferential position of the defect in the weld. Based on the ultrasonic guided wave modal separation algorithm, the symmetric and asymmetric modes of the echo signal are separated, the amplitude is extracted and the circumferential position of the defect is confirmed. The correctness of the method is verified by experiments, and the range of the defects can be detected is confirmed.

    Residual stress of spot welding cannot be measured by the hole drilling method based on traditional resistance strain gauge. A DMI gauge method through centered layer-by-layer drilling is put forward to measure the radial inhomogeneous residual stress of spot welding along with the direction of the thickness of plate. The relationship between radial residual stress and strain that released from the incremental drilling hole is deduced, after which the hierarchical load method is adopted to conduct the simulating calculation of the release coefficients of each layer on two-dimension finite element model and a release coefficient chart required by 5 layer unequal stresses calculation is demarcated. The effectiveness of the method is verified by using the release coefficients as well as the example of 5-step layer-by-layer drilling method of measuring the residual stress of spot welding.

    In order to limit the number of building lifts, and to prevent overloading of the lifts, a method for the detection of the number of workers in lift based on machine vision is proposed in this paper. In the area where the workers enter the entry, the improved Vibe algorithm is used to segment moving objects in video images, and field smoothing to remove image noise. The head is fitted by ellipse fitting, and the centroid of the ellipse is tracked and counted by the nearest distance matching method based on the Kalman filter. This algorithm has good accuracy and robustness in counting of the workers in the lift.

    In industrial production, the errors in manufacturing and assembly of manipulators lead to poor movement accuracy and production efficiency. In order to solve the problems, this paper puts forward amotion parameter identification of parallel manipulator based on the particle swarm optimization algorithm, which achieves the manipulator geometric parameter identification and estimation error by the establishment of parameter mathematical model. Experimental results show that motion parameter identification of parallel manipulator based on particle swarm optimization algorithm enjoys small test error and fast convergence, and can be used in the improvement of the production line, product quality, and corporate efficiency.

    A model reference adaptive control system witch of good following characteristics is designed for the uncertainty of the position servo system. The model of numerical control machine system is discussed with the uncertain system equivalent to the one with parametric variable single input and single output to establish a Lyapunov-MRAC (Model Reference Adaptive Control) system. The Matlab simulation results show that the Lyapunov MRAC system has good following characteristics, stability and precision.

    The establishment of the system of graduate scholarships evaluation is one of the most important problems in the graduate education reform. In order toassess graduate scholarships more fairly and equitably, it is needed to analyze the relevant factors of scholarship levels and their intrinsic relationships. Based on historical data, a Bayesian network model for evaluation of scholarship levels is constructed by using the K2 algorithm and the probabilistic inference algorithms for prediction. The research results show that the proposed method is feasible and its accuracy is as high as 88%. The study presents a scientific method for the evaluation of graduate admission scholarship, which provides a good guidance for the future scholarship evaluation.

    An improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is put forward for the precise control of Brushless DC Motor by adjusting the parameters online. The updated parameters of particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is used to dynamically optimize the parameters of the fuzzy PID controller, which determines the optimal parameters of double closed loop control model of the Brushless DC Motor. The simulated results of Matlab show that the method effectively decreases the adjusting time without overshoot of speed with smaller starting torque ripple.

    Wireless networks technology has broad prospects in today's society. With the increase in wireless network nodes, network latency has become an important problem to be solved. In order to provide quality of service (QoS) and increase throughput, we propose a model based on priority queuing delay of each packet by pre-setting priorities to distinguish their importance and timeliness, while each of the AP according to the priority queue is divided into three types, and the default priority packets into which transmission, thus effectively reducing the sender queuing delays. Simulation shows that compared to non-prioritized queue of nodes in the network, this program greatly reduces both the delay of a single node and the average delay across the network, thus a significantly improved overall network performance.

    It is difficult to accurately determine the pipeline defects using ultrasonic guided wave technology. The propagation of defect wave is analyzed when the ultrasonic guided wave passes through the defect of the pipeline, and a method for determining the defect’s location and size by using the wave spectrum is proposed. ANSYS simulation of the propagation of the T (0, 1) mode ultrasonic guided wave in a pipeline with defects is performed to obtain the amplitude spectrum of the detection. It is found that the color of the defect position is always change first; the coordinate amplitude of the all nodes’ signal at the same time shows that there is a certain coefficient between the number of nodes which the amplitude attenuation below 1/10 and the defect’s circumferential dimension.

    The traditional endpoint detection algorithm based on short-time energy can detect speech endpoint accurately in high SNR environment, but the effect is not satisfactory in low SNR environment. For this purpose, an improved algorithm is proposed based on the maximum value of short-time auto correlation and the zero crossing rate. The short-time autocorrelation maximum is used for valid speech segments area and noise, while the short-time zero crossing rate for the effective detection of the unvoiced signal, thus effectively detecting the endpoint of the speech signal. Experiments show that the improved algorithm reduces the detection error compared to the short time energy algorithm in the low SNR environment, and it can effectively detect the speech endpoint.

    A block-coded image over error-prone networks may result in burst block loss, which drastically degrades the quality of the received image. The spatial error concealment techniques are accepted to alleviate the degradation caused by the missing blocks. In this paper, we propose a spatial-frequency selective extrapolation (SFSE) algorithm that introduces the prior knowledge into the sparse modeling to select the required support area with suitable base functions and optimal expansion coefficients by a distance-adaptive method, so as to conceal the damaged blocks in burst error situations. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed SFSE algorithm obtains a gain 0.5 dB higher on average than that by the second-best KMMSE algorithm, and effectively improves the subjective quality of concealed image with appropriate complexity.

    Based on the 80211g, combined with the actual environment in the subway tunnel, a wireless transmission network is constructed for the subway passenger information system. The frequency planning of the WLAN  in the subway passenger information system is analyzed and the passenger information system based on the WLAN is realized. This system is capable of downloading one way 6 Mbit·s-1 MPEG-2 video stream and uploading one way 2 Mbit·s-1 monitoring information to the central subsystem. In the actual environment, the system is analyzed and tested. The test results show that it can meet the actual demand.

    Amagnetorheological (MR) dynamic damper is designed based on the MR squeeze mode by applying the MR technology in the follower rest of a common lathe CA6140. The dynamic model of the follower rest system with the MR dynamic damper is set up and its effect of suppressing turning vibration is verified by the numerical simulation. The dynamic response of the MR dynamic damper simulated with Adams verifies the validity of the above analysis, and that the MR dynamic damper can suppress the machining chatter.

    A theory of finite element (FE) model updating based on the sensitivity analysis is proposed. A finite element model of spindle systems for a high precision grinder is established to analyze the thermal properties. However, the outcomes of the theoretical and experimental modal analyses do not match. Therefore, the analytical models of the structures need to be updated according to the experimental test results. This study addresses an updating algorithm to modify the numerical models by deducing the sensitivity analysis for unknown properties. The result shows that the FE model updating based on the sensitivity analysis can reduce the error between the experimental and analytical results from1199% to 288% by only four iterations.

    The Mandrel radial speed and driving roll rotational speed have a directly influence on the complex ring rolling process. The design of Mandrel radial speed and driving roll rotational speed through traditional physical experiments is expensive and inefficient. This study discusses the finite element modeling technology about ring rolling process, performs the simulation based on the Simufact software, and analyzes the influence of Mandrel radial speed and driving roll rotational speed on rolling force and equivalent plastic strain. The results show that the deformation of ring die is adequate and uniform at a mandrel radial speed of 2mm/s and a driving roll rotational speed between 25rad/s-33rad/s, where the rolling force is suitable with good forming effect. Result of simulation will provide a reference for the design and improvement of process parameters of ring rolling process.

    Experiments on cutting carbon steel sheets with 500 W diode laser are performed. In order to improve the cutting ability, the optical lens of the cutting head is improved with in mind the big laser beam divergence Angle of diode laser, and the process characteristics of the carbon steel sheet laser cutting. Result shows that properly increasing the spot size and extending the depth of focus improves the ability of the diode laser to cut carbon steel sheets more than 3 mm thick, and cutting speed is decreased at a sheet thickness of 6 mm; within 3~6 mm thickness, the cutting efficiency of diode laser is close to that of the 500 W fiber laser.

    The influence on the thick film resistor paste’s printing properties and electrical properties of the functional phase and sizes, and the composition and content of glass phase and organic carrier is studied. The impact of paper additives on the thick film resistor conductivity electrical properties is discussed. It is found that the performance parameters of thick film resistor paste are the result of the interaction of various factors. A formula of high performance thick film resistor paste is obtained by changing the composition and content of components.

A security log analysis system based on FP-Growth algorithm is proposed, which takes the web log as the main research object.     This paper designs a simple face-recognizing attendance system based on geometric feature. This paper expounds the image gray-level integration projection to determine the general location of facial organs. This system extracts the position of human's left eye, right eye, nose, mouth, the relative distances between them and other seven Eigen-values, and gives different weights to synthesize vector face. The face matching is realized by comparing the synthesized vector face with the database.

    Video capture has become an important part in a monitoring system in the Internet of things. But video images require substantial storage space and communication bandwidth, which may cause great difficulties in transmission and storage, thus the need for video image compression. This paper discusses a video image compression method for a monitoring system in the Internet of Things, which combines the frame prediction, DCT transformation and variable length encoding to realize video encoding and decoding accordingly. Experimental results show that this method can effectively compress the video image and improve the transmission rate of the video images while reducing the transmission time.

    Software developing in Embedded systems lacks the process of peephole optimization when using the GCC compiler, thus a poorer performance of the compiled code than that by the ARM compiler. This paper proposes a combination of cycle counter, consolidating data of cyclic process and cycle expansion optimally to optimize assembly code on the ARM9 processor, which are verified by running matrix multiplication, image merging and memory settings programs, respectively, on the ARM9 platform. Experimental data show that above mentioned methods reduce the number of register counts by 50% on average while nearly doubling the performance compared with the GCC compiled code.

    The current urban road lighting management systems generally adopts manual or timing control, which leads to waste of electric energy and difficulty in timely maintenance management. This paper designs a system control based on GPRS and ZigBee wireless sensor network technology and information management technology of urban street lamp for intelligent monitoring and control of street lamp. The core part consists mainly of the information management platform and the database, the network coordinator, and the street lamp controller. The light status is remote monitored and suitable working mode can be set up for the lamp by the user. The system function and performance test show that the design of the system and the traditional timing control method improve the management efficiency and reduce power consumption by 13%.

A serial port communication program of electronic balance is designed on VB60 development platform by using MSCOMM communication control of VB with the computer as the upper machine and Sartorius balance as the lower machine. The remote data recording system of electronic scale based on VB is developed. Data bi-directional transmission and processing are realized through RS232 and the measured data are filled into the Excel forms in real time, thus avoiding artificial meter reading error and improving the work efficiency. The field debugging suggests the system is convenient, reliable and has great practicability.

    The exiting solution of complicated lighting control system is inflexible. This paper provides a solution of a large-scale lighting control system based on ZigBee communication. The solution includes the design of end-device, the gateway, and the user interface. The end-devices and the gateway join the ZigBee network to communicate with each other over the air. The user interface is designed on the Niagara platform which provides the Web interface. Thus, this user interface is available in browser both on PC and mobile phone.

    HD video decoding and playing on the client player suffers high CPU occupancy and low image data copy speed. This paper proposes an approach that can copy data rapidly decoded by GPU. The DXVA hardware decoding method in the application of video decoding arithmetic process is studied. In order to eliminate the high CPU usage result from the memory copying, GPU memory’s specialty and new features of SSE41 multimedia instruction are used to design and implement a scheme of video frame data copy quickly. The experiment shows the method can effectively reduce CPU occupancy while meeting the requirements of real-time HD video playing.

    The analogtodigital converter (ADC) is the necessary interface for analog signal to digital signal conversion. The minimum performance index of the sigmadelta ADC while meeting the precision demand are obtained by modeling in order to reduce the power consumption of the system while maintaining high precision. The mathematical modeling analysis of the nonideal factors of a secondorder SigmaDelta modulator is performed, and the distribution of minimum performance indicators of the ADC module is simulated with SDtoolbox. Based on 0.5 μm CMOS CSMC process and under the 5 V power supply voltage, this paper presents the modulator circuit design. The results show that the inband signaltonoise ratio is 83.5 dB, and total power consumption is 1.8 mW at minimum performance of the modulator.

    For of the encountered, this paper adopts the logic description and verification capability of the current EDA technology to design classical logic circuits as the replacement of reversible logic gates based on functional expressions to solve the bottlenecks of reversible logic synthesis in case of great circuit scale and complexity. The reversible ALU, described with conventional logic diagram, implements sixteen logic operations. Experimental results show that the proposed method is feasible and effective.

    The core of the current wireless power transmission technology is based on the magnetic coupling resonance mechanism. According to the principle of symmetry, the mechanism of the wireless power transmission should include two kinds of resonant coupling mechanism of the magnetic and the electric resonance coupling. In this paper, the theoretical formula of the electric resonant coupling circuit model is presented and the theoretical formula of the transmission power gain is derived from the dual nature of the circuit. Through the analysis of the circuit parameters, the variation of the transmission power gain is obtained which has a guiding significance.

    Although the substrate integrated waveguide filter enjoys high Q value, high power, low production cost and easy integration, the greatly reduced structure size due to the increase of frequency, especially in the millimeter wave phase, causes great difficult in its fabrication. The high order mode filter design method based on substrate integrated waveguide resonator is discussed, which offers higher frequency operation than the dominate mode cavity filters of the same size.

    In this paper, the interface circuit of an audio and video data acquisition system is designed and realized to solve the problem of buffer memory overflow or read empty issue. The interface circuit is designed for audio and video compression data FPGA cache and PCI bus transfer. The method of controlling the use of ping-pong operation switch buffer ensures seamless transfer of data. Simulation results show that the accuracy and stability of the interface circuit designed meets the project requirements and has good engineering application value.

    To meet the needs of the lowpower wakeup module of active electronic tags and sensor nodes, this paper proposes a method of wireless control of semiconductor switches based on microwave rectification. In this design, with the DC power controlled by the on/off state of a semiconductor switch, extremely lowpower consumption of the wakeup module during dormancy is achieved due to the extremely low leak current of the switch. Different from traditional microwave rectifiers that are designed to provide maximum output DC power, the rectification circuit in this paper is aimed to achieve the bets output DC voltage. Simulation and measurement results show that  a twoelement array design achieves the minimum required controlling voltage (1 V) for turning on a typical CMOS switch with an RF power level as low as18dBm received by both antenna elements.

    The active current separation method is introduced into the single-phase harmonic detection circuit in view of the complex and distorted current in the detection of harmonic and reactive current in single-phase circuit. The fundamental active current and reactive and harmonic current are obtained by multiplying the unit of sine cosine current provided by phase-locked loop and by filtering high harmonics by the low pass filter, respectively. Detective current that contains 2, 4, 6, 8times harmonics is simulated by the Matlab, the fundamental and harmonics are obtained. The proposed method provides a more convenient way to simulate the detection circuit.

    With high dynamic signal tracking and locking function to solve the spaceborne GNSS receiver, the design of a self-developed satellite navigation receiver GPS, through a software upgrade to allow it to work in LEO, GEO and higher orbit, achieve faster signal capture capability and weak signal tracking ability.This paper introduced the design and test of spaceborne GPS receiver. The receiver hardware and software architecture and the functional description is provided, and finally gives the simulation test results under the condition of high dynamic low earth orbit. Through the test showed that the promising performance of weak GNSS signal acquisition & tracking under high dynamic conditions which is suitable for space use.

    For the high speed stream data transmission between the IP core of the digital video, we design and implement an interface IP core of the digital video based on the AXI4Stream bus. The digital video signal from the external input in the ITU601 format is translated into the signal conforming with the bus protocol of AXI4Stream, and then exported to the port of the next level IP core through the main port of the IP core. The accuracy and feasibility of the proposed design have been validated by the actual hardware circuit using Xilinx ISE Design Suite 14.6.
