A rapid evaluation formula for electromagnetic scattering of arbitrary shaped conducting targets with partial coating

Abstract: A rapid evaluation formula for the PO method on electromagnetic scattering by arbitrary shaped conducting targets with partial coating is obtained by approximating electrically large scale objects with polygons, based on the theory of equivalent currents on the arbitrary RAM surface with the infinite metal substrate. It makes the calculation high efficient as there are only simple algebraic operations without integration in our formula. This establishes a basis for the RCS rapid evaluation of the electrically large scale conducting bodies with partial coating.
