Abstract: The analysis methods of the finite element for fuzzy truss structures udner fuzzy loads action are studied. Based on the information entropy, the fuzzy variables are transformed into radndom variables, in which the structural physical parameters and geometrical dimensions and applied loads are all considered as fuzzy variables. Based on the random factor method(RFM), the computational expressions for the mean value and mean variance of the structural displacement response and stress responses are developed by the algebra method. Through examples, the influences of the fuzziness of the structural physical parameters and geometric dimensions and loads on the structural displacement and stress responses are analyzed, and the rationality and feasibility of presented model and approach are validated.
