Research on the intger-to-integer wavelet-coefficient-based texture image retrieval techniques

Abstract: A texture image retrieval method using the ingeger-to-integer wavelet coefficient is proposed. As the main features of teh texture image are present in the details and the high pass of the WT coefficients denotes the details of the image, the features deduced from WT Coefficients can be used to retrieve the texture image. Better indexing results can be obtained based on this method, which are not sensitive to luminance. These virtues cannot be found in the traditional literature.
