Abstract: The software quality evaluation is significant for the improvement of software progress and the control of software quality. In order to obtain the quantitative and objective evaluation result of software quality, this paper presents a system framework for software quality evaluation based on the international standards of ISO/IEC 9126 and the implementation method of the system. The implementation covers an overall software lifecycle and is driven by the user's quality goals. According to the quality goals, the evaluators can select suitable indicators to start the evaluation. At the same time, the results of the evaluation are useful for the improvement of software progress.
