PAPR reduction for COFDM with Golay coding scheme and system implementation

Abstract: According to complementary sequence characteristics, we study the algorithm for PAPR reduction in OFDM systems with Golay complementary sequences which are constructed by the Reed-Muller codes. In terms of the balance between complexity and implementation, we propose a new decoding scheme, which makes selection in the cosets so as to reduce the complexity of decoding and satisfy the real-time requirement. Finally, the simulation results in the AWGN channels show that the proposed algorithm can constrain PAPR within 6 dB and achieves satisfactory BER performance.
