超分辨率成像系统的FPGA控制研究

Research on FPGA Control in Super-Resolution Color Imaging System

摘要:

介绍了一种基于异型结构传像光纤束,以DSP(DM642)和FPGA(xilinx XC3S1500)为核心处理器的超分辨率实时彩色成像系统,着重讨论了FPGA在系统中的功能实现,包括Bayer图像的双线性插值,RGB和YUV图像格式之间的转换,以及与USB控制器的通信等。系统中FPGA直接与DM642特有的Vport口相连,传输YUV数据;通信结构简单、数据传输速率高。DSP从YUV数据中直接提取出Y分量进行计算,大大减轻了工作量。该系统充分发挥了FPGA硬件实现的快速性,提高了系统性能,同时具有适应性与灵活性强等优点。

Abstract:

A flame work of a super-resolution imaging system with the non-conventional image-carrying fiber bundles which adopts DSP (DM642) and FPGA as the core is presented in this paper.The function of FPGA in the system,including bilinear interpolation of Bayer images,image format conversion between RGB and YUV,communication with USB controller and so on,are discussed in detail.In this system,the FPGA connects with video port of DM642 directly to transmit YUV color space image data.This communication structure is simple,but it can guarantee high rate of data transmission,DSP greatly reduced its workload by extracting Y component directly from the YUV color space data to compute.This system gives full play to the quickness of hardware implementation in FPGA and enhances the system capability;and it has such advantages as adaptability,and flexibility.
