基于FPGA的SATAII协议物理层实现

Abstract

Abstract:

As a high-speed serial and point-to-point transmission hard disk interface,SATA has taken the place of IDE.The SATAII and SATAIII with the average line speed of 3 Gbit·s^-1and 6 Gbit·s^-1 respectively are widely used in hard disk.This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the protocol.With the utility of ISE design suit and ML507 evaluation platform of Xilinx Corp,the coding and debugging of the IP core is performed.The mode of the FPGA is XC5VFX70T and the high speed communication is done by using the Rocket IO GTX.The overall speed is improved by using the multi-stage pipeline technology.
