预加重在高速电路板中的应用

Application of Pre-emphasis in High Speed Circuit Board

摘要:

介绍了预加重技术的原理,并对信号在高速电路板上传输时的衰减情况进行了分析,运用预加重技术对信号进行预先处理,提高了信号的高频分量,改善了信号传输质量。通过观察信号的波形和眼图可确定合适的加重系数。电路仿真通过ADS来验证实现,运用了DSP和Analog/RF的联合仿真。最终选择加重系数k=1.3,即预加重强度为30%。通过传输媒质后的信号波形上升沿得到改善,眼图高度显著提升。

Abstract:

This paper introduces the theory of pre-emphasis technique,and analyzes the attenuation of signal transmitting on high speed circuit board,uses pre-emphasis technique to preprocess the signal,enhances the high frequency part of the signal,and improves the signal transmitting quality.By observing the waveform and the eye diagram of the received signal,the proper pre-emphasis coefficient k=1.3 is confirmed with a pre-emphasis intensity of 30%.The circuit simulation is verified and accomplished in ADS environment,which applies the co-simulation of DSP and Analog/RF.The results show that the waveform rising edge of the signal passing through the transmission medium is improved,and the eye diagram height is significantly increased.
