摘要:

针对十字路口复杂的交通情况,提出一种新的箭头形交通信号灯识别方法。采用亮度分割和形态滤波对交通信号灯的位置进行定位,结合HIS颜色空间和交通灯的相对位置确定交通信号灯颜色。信号灯箭头的方向采用二维Gabor小波进行特征提取,用PCA算法对图像数据进行压缩,并用ICA算法进一步提取PCA的特征,最终用模板匹配进行分类。实验结果表明,该算法的正确识别率达到96.7%。是一种较好的箭头形交通信号灯识别算法。

Abstract:

A new method of arrow traffic light detection and recognition is proposed for the complicated traffic conditions of intersections.Intensity segmentation and morphological filtering are used to locate the traffic lights,then combined with the HIS color space and the relative position of the traffic light and the lamp board to confirm the color of the traffic lights.2D-Gabor Wavelets are used to extract the features of the candidate regions of traffic lights.PCA is used to compress the images,and ICA to further extract the feature of PCA.Finally template matching is used for classification.Experimental results show that the correct recognition rate of this method reaches 96.7%.
