Abstract: For a radar system with only one receiving antenna and the transmitting antenna arrays, in order to improve the target angular resolution, the MUSIC algorithm is applied to process the super-resolution of targets within the transmitting beam. As the signal model of the separated and processed data after being received by a single antenna is equivalent to that of the general receive antenna arrays in a nonuniform way, the super-resolution can be realized, which is proved by simulation results. The super-resolution processing of the synthetic transmitting beam in the receiving terminal surely improves the distinction ability of the radar and the accuracy of the angular measurement.
