Abstract:

With the constant improvement of the electric power applications,power harmonics problems,especially the harmonics generated harm,have aroused widespread concerns of the industry users.The detection,elimination and management of the harmonic current have become a top priority in the attempt to comprehensively improve the quality of service of the grid.This article analyzes the harms harmonic current might do,discusses the detection methods,and proposes some methods for the elimination and management of harmonic current with desirable effects.
