摘要:

设计实现了基于TMS320DM648的H.264视频压缩系统。H.264中的运动估计策略在改善图像质量的同时增加了计算复杂度,针对这一问题,文中提出了一种基于运动特性的自适应快速运动估计算法,并将新算法应用到视频压缩系统的设计中。此外,系统还针对DM648的特点对H.264进行了程序级的优化。实验表明,文中设计的视频压缩系统可以同时满足高图像质量及实时两方面的性能,适用于多媒体处理领域。

Abstract:

In this paper,an H.264 video compression system based on TMS320DM648 is designed.In the video compression system,motion estimation improves image quality with increasing of computational complexity.To solve this problem,the algorithm is improved by incorporating a new motion determination criteria and an adaptive search strategy.Furthermore,program optimization is performed according to the characteristics of TMS320DM648.The simulation results show that the new video compression system can satisfy the requirements of high image quality and real-time performance,and can be applied in media processing.
