Design and Optimization of Network for a Rectangular LED Surface Light Source

在实际生产中,为了减少任意数目LED作为光源的背光模组中导光板网点设计的改版次数,削减开发时间成本,提出一种新的关于任意数量LED作光源、矩形侧入式导光板网点分布设计的理论方法。在此方法的基础上,应用TracePro软件建立导光板仿真模型,输入理论计算公式,并利用光线追踪功能,得出初步的仿真照度图,并最终利用TracePro平台中的Texture Optimizer优化模块,对初步理论计算设计所得网点分布进一步优化。在3颗LED作为光源的模型中,优化后均匀度达到87%,符合国家标准。

This paper proposes a new light guide plate design with a rectangular side entering type distribution and arbitrary number of LEDs as the light source to reduce the times of backlight module revision of LGP network design,development time and cost in the actual production.The simulation model of the light guide plate is established using the TracePro software.The simulation diagram of illumination is obtained by inputting the theoretical calculation formula and the use of ray tracing function.The design of the preliminary theoretical calculation of distribution network is optimized by the optimization module of texture optimizer on the TracePro platform.A uniformity of 87% is achieved in the model with three LEDs as the light source,which is in line with national standards.
